Aglet Socks ’N’ Slides ‘HOT DAVES’
Hot Daves In Your Area Now
As part of a weekly promotion, our in-house illustrator Jordan created this fun take on an old-school internet pop-up ad, spoofing the “Hot babes in your area now” and used an avatar version of me and modified the text to “Hot Daves in your area now”.
Over time, this image was used in several of our in-game shoe designs, including the Aglet Socks ’N’ Slides ‘HOT DAVES’, the Aglet One High ‘HOT DAVES’ and the Aglet Freeflow ‘HOT DAVE’
The original design
The Socks ‘N’ Slides version was created by player S34N as part of the Aglet Creators element of the game. Here’s the Tech Pack S34N submitted leading to his design being included into the game.
The in-game version
The in-game version of the show was released in a batch of 2,000. Here is the #1 of that release as displayed in-game.
